NICS Athletics Club

Welcome to the Northern Ireland Civil Service Athletics Club.

This site provides information for club members and for any civil or public servants interested in running. It doesn't matter what ability you have we want to encourage you to get out there for a run, whether it is at the Stormont Cross Country, or one of the other events that our members organise. All Civil / Public Servants are welcome to join the club and you can get more informationabout membership on the Club Details section of our website.

The Club's Flagship Event every year is the Stormont Cross Country. This race is an open race to all runners of all abilities and next year will be held on the Saturday 23rd February 2013 with the events kicking off at 11am. There are several events on the day starting with two primary school races, and then two junior events, before the open race for the adults at 12:20pm. The open race also includes the Civil Service Cross Country Championships and full details can be found in the events section of this site closer to the date.
